Design Plus is developing modules that are cost effective, low on maintenance, eco friendly and blend into the varying rural environments.

Load Bearing Structure (as a building module)

Layout
The classroom block arrangment permits functioning of the school in different shifts for Junior /Middle /Senior Classes, also taking care of overlapped timings.

Zoning
The Blocks are arranged to create an interactive court between the classrooms and Laboratories/Library, so that they can operate independently at different times by either the Junior/Middle/Senior students.

DOME (as a building module)
For Hilly Areas:
The structure is well-suited for earthquake active zones.
Since this structure requires very little excavation and levelling, it offers ease of buildability on challanging terrains.

For Coastal Areas
The structure is also apt for cyclone prone coastal areas & sandy terrains, since it’s support on ring beams allow for quick and secure construction.

Brick and Brick Vault (as a building module)
Brick vaults are ideally suited for regions having subtropical climate. Additionally, the locally present brick kilns contribute to the low cost of procurement, hence construction.

Vaults provide
- Insulation from extreme weather conditions to maintain comfortable indoors. -   Additional height gained further aids in maintaining suitable room   temperature.
- Economical than conventional R.C.C. construction.
- Buildable by local un-skilled labour
